T in the Park


Everyone’s familiar with T in the Park as one of the UK’s big Summer festivals. After choosing Spotify as the platform for a promotional campaign for ticketing, navy&grey were asked to create and produce the audio execution that would accompany the online visuals.

As this is a major date in the festival calendar and DF Concerts are major players in the festival world, we felt the execution needed to really stand out to do the event itself justice. So we pitched the idea of using Edith Bowman to voice the commercial.

For this campaign, using a celebrity voice added a specific prestige that would have been lacking without the associations that Edith Bowman brings. Edith’s links with music and T in the Park itself made perfect sense, and what we ended up with is a creative execution full of genuine excitement, that fit the brand perfectly.
